    Hi Frank,

    Smartdd seems to be the perfect program for me. I have the free version and I am trying to install it to site for a test run.

    My host does not have cPanel. I uploaded the every thing to site and created my SQL database as smartdd. From here I am stuck.

    I tried to find any info on your site which could assist me but, could not.
    What should I do now? Any help will be appreciated!

    Hi Frik,

    All you need to do now is generate a licence for your domain, and then run the Windows installer.

    The installer will connect to your server after you’ve supplied the FTP details and upload all the files necessary to run SmartDD. After it’s completed, you’ll be taken to a web page to complete the installation where you enter your database and email address.

    You’ll see a page that’s waiting for you to go through those final steps.

    Before you do that, you need to FTP the licence up to the SmartDD directory on your web server. Then click on the button to go to the first step of the final part of the installation.
