You, are like, 1 step away from "verified opt-in" sometimes called "double-optin"… it would be sooo easy to add, provided two different email addresses are used. IS there a way to do this now?!? I have read a "thanks for the beer" post and it is stirring up ideas.

Yep, we know. Shortly after releasing v2.0, we'll be releasing a "mini-updater" which adds third party autoresponder integration and free sign ups as an action for delivering a product.
It will also allow you to do one time offers.
