I created this video to show you how easy it is to give your business a professional presence to it by using an email address created off your own domain.
I've seen lots of businesses recently running their communications off a free or third party email account. If you're doing that, then you should consider moving to an email account on your own domain.
Ask yourself this question.
What looks more professional to your customers?
1) lunchtimereads@aol.com
OR
2)
sales@lunchtimereads.com
Just whose business are you advertising if you go for option 1? If you don't mind being AOLs active sales helper, then use number 1. ;-)
But really, you know as well as I do that number 2 does YOU far more favours than the first one.
And consider this.
When you put a listing on eBay, you're allowed to put a contact email address in all your listings. You're wasting an opportunity to drive traffic to your own website if you use an email address in the style of option 1.
If you use an email in the style of number 2, you could put something like this into all your listings instead:-
If you have any queries, then please email me on:-
sales@LunchTimeReads.com
That makes it sort of a giveaway where your website might be eh?
Enjoy the video!
